Today afternoon there was slogan shouting in front of the apex body KFCC by the members of the Kannada Film Producers Association. That was against the crossing of print limits of ‘Enthiran’ film in Karnataka.

Prior to the protest start the Vice President of KFCC BN Gangadhar, General Secretary of KFCC A Ganesh and other executive council members of the producer sector in KFCC resigned for the posts and came before their own office with placards.

The Kannada film producers Association urged for the immediate stopping of Enthiran ads in newspapers and call of the film. The ticket price in the cinema halls have been increased without permission should be immediately checked said KFPA press note. The excess screen earnings of Enthiran should be brought to KFCC and work according to all sectors meet. Lastly the non Kannada film distributors are on money making motto that should be stopped.

In the afternoon the KFCC President Basanthkumar Patil came to pacify the protesting crowd. Patil assured the strikers that he would take up the issue seriously and do justice to everyone.

Now what happens to the issue of resignation of senior members of KFCC?
